The generate QC plots functionality in OMIQ allows you to view a single feature (on the X axis) against other features (on the Y axis). This is commonly done using single stained controls to check the quality of the unmixing or compensation.
The QC Plots for Comp/Unmixing functionality is only available in Grid Mode. It is not yet available in Canvas Mode.
1. Add a Figure Task to your Workflow
Click Add new child task and select Figure from the task selector.
In the image above, we have just applied an unmixing matrix and we are now going to generate the QC plots for our single stained controls we used in the unmixing process.
2. Select QC Plots for Comp/Unmixing
Click on Actions then go to Figure Actions then select QC Plots for Comp/Unmixing.
3. Configure your Single Stained Controls and Feature Mapping
Select the Single Stain Control Files from the drop-down menu and click Next.
Select the Feature that corresponds to the single stain control files. This will be used for the X axis of the plots. Click on Generate Plots.
While OMIQ attempts to map the Single Stain Control file with the corresponding feature, it is best to check that the file and feature pairing are correct.
4. Review the Generated Plots
Each row of the generated plots correspond to a single stain control file with its corresponding feature on the X axis and the other features plotted on the Y axis.
