Quickly review your Gating Hierarchy, optionally across all your Files, in Figure.
The View Gate Hierarchy action is only available in Grid Mode, it is not yet available in Canvas Mode.
1. Select View Gate Hierarchy
Add a Figure task to your workflow. Select ꠵ Actions ➝ Figure Actions ➝ View Gate Hierarchy.
2. Choose which Filter(s) to Display
Choose which Filter(s) to Display. Note that if you have a Filter that has sibling Filters, you may prefer to just select one of the siblings and use Plot Settings to show all gates (Select the plot ➝ Settings ➝ Show Gates on Plot).
You may find it useful to have two browser windows open. Find out more about two window analysis in OMIQ here.
3. Choose the Lineage to display
3.1. Show all steps
Show all steps will display every step of the Gating Hierarchy that leads to the chosen filter(s) in Step (2). Here I have chosen a single terminal Filter and chosen to display the sibling gates using (Select the plot ➝ Settings ➝ Show Gates on Plot). If you select multiple Filters in Step (2) that have common ancestors, then you will get some duplication, so you may choose this option if you are interested only in a single branch of your gating tree.
3.2. Show only final step
The alternative option is Show only final step. You may decide to chose this option if you want to select your entire gating tree (especially if it has branches) and not have duplicate plots produced. In the plot above I have deleted the selected Sibling plots and chosen to display the sibling gates using (Select the plot ➝ Settings ➝ Show Gates on Plot). Of course, one could not have selected the sibling gates in the first instance.
You can also choose this option to avoid setting the Filter, and axes in Plot Settings when making a New Plot, when applicable. Recall that you can select multiple Filter(s).
4. Bonus Step: View Gating Hierarchy for all your Files
