Looking to rearrange your rows in a figure task in OMIQ? You might have noticed you can't drag and drop the different rows in Grid Mode.
However, it is possible to achieve, this article walks you through the process.
This process will only work in Grid Mode, it is not suitable for Canvas mode where you can freely rearrange plots.
How to Rearrange your rows in Grid Mode
The key to this process is to utilize cut and paste.
1.
Select the row you wish to move. This can be done either through the Right Click Menu or the Actions Menu in the top ribbon.
2.
Cut the Row. Again, either via the Right Click Menu or the Actions Menu in the top ribbon.
3.
Select the Row below where you want to the move the Cut Row.
4.
Insert a Row, using either the Right Click Menu or the Actions Menu in the top ribbon. This Row will always be added above your selection.
5.
Click away from any plots. You must ensure you have no plots selected.
This step is important, if you do not click away then you will paste onto any existing selected row.
6.
Paste. OMIQ will target the paste intelligently to the blank row.

Rearranging Columns
The process for Rearranging Columns is very similar, except there is no need to insert a empty column.
In short, the process is the following.
- Select the Column (Through Right Click Menu or the Actions Menu in the Top Ribbon)
- Cut the Column
- Select the Column to the left of where you wish the column to go
- Paste. The Column will Automatically be inserted to the right of your selected Column
