Some analysis patterns require you to edit one task and view the results in a second task. For live updating tasks, you are not required to switch between two tasks within the same tab/window in OMIQ, instead you can access your workflow from two separate tabs/windows. Changes made in one tab/window are reflected in the other, due to the hierarchy within OMIQ workflows.
Which Tasks Live Update?
Currently, the Compensation, Scaling and Gating tasks will live update with our servers as you change/enter information.
Expected changes would need to be below the edited task in your OMIQ workflow in order for you to see these changes.
An Example
Changing the Compensation in one window can then change the contents of a Figure task in another window IF the figure task is below gating in the workflow hierarchy.
In the example below, the Compensation task is open in one window, and the Figure task is open in a second, separate window. Any changes made to the Comp Matrix could be visualized in the Figure task.
