It's possible to to share a dataset or workflow with a user on a different OMIQ server to yourself. The strategy for sharing your work across servers is to use a functionality called External Transfers.
Note, it is not possible for a user on the multi-tenant (app.omiq.ai) to send a request to a user on a Enterprise server (company.omiq.ai). Instead, the request must come from the Enterprise server to the multi-tenant server. If you are both on Enterprise server, there is no preference for who can send the connection.
1. Form External Connection
Open the Profile page and open the External Connections panel which is revealed from within the Connections panel by clicking the External Connections icon.
Fill in your connection's Email address and write the External Subdomain of the server in the secondary field. Click Send Request.
For multi-tenant this would be "app", for an Enterprise server, please confirm with your connection the designation their server uses. The subdomain is the first part of the URL: domain_name.omiq.ai
The recipient of the request should go to their Profile page and Accept the request by going to the External Connections panel.
2. Share Workflow and Files
While inside the Workflow you want to share, open the Collaborators tab and select Show external transfers.
Select External Connection email address.
Choose to share either the Workflow only (Send WF) or the Workflow and associated files (Send WF & Files).
You can also just choose to share only the files. This can be done following the steps above while inside a particular Dataset.
