You can easily import data from one dataset to another in OMIQ. This will minimize the need to re-upload your data, or data shared with you, to different datasets. Importing data also imports the associated file metadata.

1. Import Data Into a New Dataset
1.1 Create a New Dataset

In the Datasets page, click Create Dataset.

Name your dataset. Click Create.
1.2 Import Files From Another Dataset

Click File Actions. Select Import Files.

Choose the Dataset(s) you want to import the files from. Click Submit.

Select the Files you want to import. Click Submit. You will then be shown an importing files bar.
2. Import Data Into an Existing Dataset
Open the Dataset you want to import the files into. Click on File Actions then select Import Files.

Choose the Dataset(s) you want to import the files from. Click Submit.

Select the Files you want to import. Click Submit. You will then be shown an importing files bar.
