Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended by Congress in the Workforce Investment Act of 1998, requires that electronic and information technology used by United States government agencies be accessible to people with disabilities.
OMIQ is covered under section 1194.21 (Software Applications and Operating Systems) of Section 508. OMIQ supports, with some minor exceptions, the guidelines outlined in Section 508.
