Easily analyze your data by using GraphPad Prism files as templates in OMIQ. Once you have a GraphPad Prism file set-up from OMIQ, you can upload this as a template and streamline your analysis for repeated assays (e.g. IC/EC50, Cytotoxicity Assays, etc).
1. Create a GraphPad Prism Template Using OMIQ
You would need to create a GraphPad Prism file that will be used as a template from OMIQ. To learn more on how to do this, please visit our support articles linked below:

The image above shows an example workflow of an IC50 assay in OMIQ. We have created a GraphPad Prism file following the Create a XY Graph using the OMIQ-GraphPad Prism Integration and have formatted an example figure layout. We will then use this GraphPad Prism file as a template in OMIQ.
It is important that the GraphPad Prism file you use as a template was generated from OMIQ.
2. Prepare to Use the GraphPad Prism Template in OMIQ
2.1 Upload and Add Metadata to the Dataset
Upload a new dataset that you want to analyze using a GraphPad Prism template and add any necessary metadata. For this example, we would need metadata to create an XY plot such as X-axis (concentration), groups (drug), and replicates (repeat).
It is important that the metadata is an exact match as the metadata that you have used to build your GraphPad Prism template. To learn more about metadata, you can visit our resource here.
2.2 Build your Workflow
You can build your workflow from scratch, or using a duplicate of the Workflow used in Step (1).
It is important that the filter (gate) names match exactly as the filter names used to build your GraphPad Prism template. To learn more about gating, you can see our support article: Performing Manual Gating in OMIQ.
2.3 Upload your GraphPad Prism Template File
GraphPad Prism files are stored in the Details tab of your workflow.
Navigate to the Details tab of your workflow. Click on Add files.
Either Drag & Drop your GraphPad Prism file that will be used as a template or use the Click to Choose Files functionality to upload the file.
You can track the File Upload Status of the file.
3. Apply the the GraphPad Prism Template in OMIQ
3.1 Add an Export Statistics Task to your Workflow

Click Add new child task and select Export Stats from the task selector.
You can also access the Export Statistics task from within other tasks, such as the Gating task. Have a look below the Logout button.
3.2 Setup your Export Statistics Task
3.2.1 Select your Files
Select the Files you want to include in the export statistics and click Next or Features.
It is important that you setup your Export Statistics in a similar manner to how you have exported the GraphPad Prism file used as a template. This means that selecting the same Features, Counts, Count Ratio, and Metadata. You can of course have new rows (new files).
3.2.2 Select your Features (optional)
Select the necessary Filters you need to use to export Feature Measures for. Select the necessary Feature Measures and select the necessary Features. You can then proceed to the next appropriate tab.
In the original workflow that our GraphPad Prism template file was created, the filter pos and the mean fluorescence intensity for FITC was selected, so we have selected it here.
3.2.3 Select your Counts
Select the necessary Filters you need to export Counts for. Select the necessary Count Measures. You can then proceed to the next appropriate tab.
In the original workflow that our GraphPad Prism template file was created, the percent of parent for FITC+ (pos) cells and the percent of live cells were included, so we have selected it here.
3.2.4 Select your Metadata
Select the necessary Metadata Dimensions that you need to build the XY plot using the template. Go to Configuration or click Next.
In the original workflow that our GraphPad Prism template file was created, the metadata concentration, drug, and repeat were used, so we have selected that here.
3.2.5 Configure your Export Settings

Select Prism in the Export File Format dropdown. Select the GraphPad Prism Template file in the Prism Template dropdown. Adjust any other settings. click Export or Run Export Stats.
The Prism Template dropdown will contain all the available GraphPad Prism template files in the workflow.
4. Download the Prism File

Navigate to the Results tab and click on the download icon to download the Prism file.
The image above shows the downloaded GraphPad Prism file. As you can see, the analysis has been automatically performed on all of the new data, including reshaping, statistic tests, graphing and layout generation.
Once you are happy with the results, you can further streamline your analysis pathway by using an OMIQ workflow template. To learn more about workflow templates, please see our support article: Creating and Using Workflow Templates. You can even share the Workflow Template, with the built-in Prism Template with your colleagues. To learn more about collaboration in OMIQ, please see our support article: How to Collaborate with Users on the Same OMIQ Server.
