How you refer to OMIQ as a software platform may be journal-specific. However it should be sufficient to say something like “[insert thing here] was done using the OMIQ software from Dotmatics (www.omiq.ai, www.dotmatics.com).”. Feel free to modify the wording a bit as needed.
Here is some basic information that may be required within materials and methods:
- Software product name: OMIQ
- Product website: www.omiq.ai
- Company name: Dotmatics
- Company website: www.dotmatics.com
Currently OMIQ is not fundamentally described in any journal article. For that reason, a traditional academic citation is not possible. However, if you used opt-SNE, there is a Nature Communications paper dedicated just to that.
Currently OMIQ doesn’t show you an official software version at any given time. This is because we change it fairly continuously and you may have to report many versions, which is impractical. We instead recommend giving a date or date range when the software was accessed.
